Pokhara, with its lakes, Himalayan views and mellow climate, is one of the most delightful place in the country. It is located 200 km away from Kathmandu.
Chitwan National park, situated in the tropical Terai region, close to the borders with India, gives a unique and exceptional wildlife experience being the home of several rare species, in particular, the one-horned rhino and Royal Bengal Tiger. You can combine a visit to Chitwan National park with whitewater rafting in Trishuli River to add a thrilling experience to your vacation in Nepal. A pilgrimage to the sacred garden at Lumbini, birthplace of Buddha is also included in our program.

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival 1360m
You arrive in Katmandu and are transferred to the hotel. A pre-trek briefing will be scheduled to discuss the trekking program and co-ordinate any last-minute arrangements.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing After breakfast proceed for city tour of Kathmandu Darbar squire complex of palaces, courtyard and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries, use to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu. In the afternoon visit the Soyambhunath Stupa and Patan City.
Swoyambhunath Stupa, atop the hillock is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal enlisted in the World Heritage Site. Patan City is an enchanting melange of palace buildings, artistic courtyard and former palace complex. One remarkable monument here is a 16th century temple dedicated to the Hindu God Lord Krishna, built entirely of stone.

Day 03: Kathmandu - Chitwan
After breakfast drives to Chitwan and check in upon arrival. Lunch will be served at the resort/lodge. In the afternoon proceed for a tour to Tharu Village and witness the Tharu Cultural Performance.

Day 04: The Jungle safari activities in Chitwan National Park
After an early breakfast, you will go for river tour on a traditional dugout canoe to see the aquatic life including Gharial crocodiles. After the canoe trip, you have options of taking jungle trek or take jeep or oxcart ride back to the resort.
After lunch, you will again be in the park on the elephant back to search the rich wildlife of the part that includes great one horned Asian Rhino, Sloth Beer, Wild boar, Leopard, deer and even the ruler of the jungle-The Royal Bengal Tiger, if your luck favors. In the evening, you may be shocked to watch the sticks clashing in aggression amongst the Tharu Tribal men but this is Tharu's famous stick dance, which is arranged by the lodge to entertain you.

Day 05: Chitwan - Pokhara
Before breakfast, you will go for a short bird watching tour and then drive to Pokhara-a beautiful valley in the western Nepal and is a testimony of wonderful natural existence of geography. In Pokhara, this afternoon you will walk along the banks of Phewa lakes and do some sightseeing.

Day 06: Meditation Begins
In our three day course we have 1.5hr meditation, 1.5hr hatha yoga, 1.5hr discussion, 3.5hr Buddhist philosophy per day.
We have only three day weekend meditation course but if you have any group then we can be flexible depending on number people. It is also possible to do 5day, 7day and 10day course as well.

Day 07: Pokhara - Kathmandu.
Following breakfast we head back to Katmandu by taking the scenic drive through the countryside. On arrival to Katmandu, we’ll check into our hotel with the remainder of the day to be spent at your leisure.

Day 08: Kathmandu Departure
Today is free to relax until your departure or to commence any additional trips or activities you may have booked. If you are departing, you'll be transferred to the international airport in time for your return flight home.
